We’re all about making a system capable of handling any sort of recurring billing, and our latest release really exemplifies our product strategy.

Whats changed?

We’ve just opened up custom fields for your clients (found under Setup > General > Custom Fields). The interface is exactly the same as the custom field editor for services. Any fields you add will be added to your clients signup forms, as well as the Add Client page within the system, and on the view client page too.

We know its a little cliché for computery folk, but “Hello World” is exactly how we feel here at SnapBill. We’ve been working within the safe confines of a South African only private beta for the last nine months, and today we’re opening up to the rest of the world!

SnapBill users will be happy to hear that we have released a revised SnapBill QuickStart guide. The SnapBill QuickStart guide allows users to get started on the system. It outlines basic system navigation and supplies how to’s on common system tasks like adding a client and creating an invoice.

Personalised emails and templates

Over at SnapBill we’re all working day and night to ensure the system we deliver on our launch day (real soon now!) is everything you might expect and more.

One of the new features we have been working on is the ability for you to send custom welcome emails to your clients, with details for them to login to our system.  We tried our best to write a welcome email that everyone would like… but unfortunately each company has their own style and the one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t apply here.

For this reason we’ve developed our own template system, and we’ve posted a detailed explanation over on our developer blog. If you’re interested follow the link below to learn more about how our template system works, and the awesome things you can do with it!

A very happy New Year to all SnapBill users!

With the birth of the New Year thoughts usually turn to new beginnings, ardent resolutions and opportunities to start again. We here at SnapBill see the New Year as yet another opportunity to build on the already solid foundations of the system by conjuring up great new system features and refinements of existing system sections.

All New Year’s resolutions aside though, the dedicated SnapBill team has put in the extra time and effort required over the festive season to bring you two massive system improvements. Find out more about these in the New Features section.

2011 promises to be a year of astronomical growth for the SnapBill system. Since our South African launch in March 2010 the system has acquired over 1000 active SME and Enterprise users, some billing over 20 000 clients per month. With our international launch planned for early 2011 current user numbers are set to increase exponentially.

For you the user this means faster and more efficient support, improvements to system usability and interface and even more advanced system features and refinements.

So let’s raise our glasses to 2011 – may it bring health, prosperity and even more hassle free billing!
